Rick Rolling has become one of the most popular pranks on the Internet. Sneaky friends often send their pals a random link that takes them to a page playing the song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. Annoying song, buy what's the catch? Try as they might, users find it difficult, if not impossible, to navigate away from this page without listening to the whole song, reading the lyrics, and pulling their hair out. This famous prank was even performed in real life when Rick Astely appeared and sang his famous song in the Macy's Christmas Parade in New York City. Have you heard of PostSecret? If you haven't, you're out of the virtual loop! PostSecret started as a simple blog where people could send in post cards anonymously detailing their amusing/scandalous/exciting secrets. The craze exploded and various compilation books of these personal memos have been published to date. PostSecret hosts events at colleges and museums with guest speakers and contests. After some great debate, I've finally decided what topic I would like to dedicate "Foote's Forum" to. I've always got a kick out of viral vids, funny YouTube submissions, and amusing Internet fads.
